Privacy Policy
Effective October 16, 2026
In short: Tally collects nothing. Your challenges, habits, notes and photos stay on your device.
Who we are
Tally is developed and published by an individual developer. In this policy “we” means that developer. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
Nothing. Tally has no account system, no servers, no analytics and no advertising or tracking SDKs. We do not collect, store, sell or share any personal data.
Data on your device
Everything you create in Tally — challenge names, descriptions, habits, daily check-ins, your “why” and reward photos — is stored locally on your device and never leaves it unless you choose to share it.
Photos
When you add a reward photo, Tally asks for access to the photo you pick. The image is copied into the app’s local storage on your device. We never upload it.
Sharing
When you tap Share, Tally creates an image on your device and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes next is up to you and is governed by the app or service you choose.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. Apple’s privacy policy applies to that processing.
Crash reports
If you have enabled “Share with App Developers” in iOS settings, Apple may share anonymous crash and usage data with us. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
Children
Tally does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
Your rights
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You can delete all Tally data at any time by deleting the app.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above.
